About Dr. Logan Sherman

​Dr. Logan Sherman graduated with honors from Parker University in August 2013 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He is passionate about being a chiropractic sports practitioner and holds certifications in Chiropractic Clinical Neurology, Active Release Technique (ART), KinetaCore Functional Dry Needling, Graston Technique, and Rocktape Fascial Movement Taping (FMT 1 and 2). Dr. Sherman was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, where he competed in cross-country, track and field, and hockey for JJ Pearce High School. Upon graduation, he attended Texas A&M University, where he studied business and was a member of the A&M track and cross-country team. Between his senior year at JJ Pearce and freshman year at Texas A&M, he was invited to train at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA. During his athletic career, Dr. Sherman regularly received chiropractic care to maintain high performance and prevent injury.

After earning his business degree from Texas A&M, Dr. Sherman pursued chiropractic sports degree at Parker University, where he balanced education, competitive road racing, and community involvement. While at Parker, he served as class president and was recognized in "Who’s Who Among Students" (2013). He focused his studies on biomechanics and functional neurology and was selected for a clinical rotation at the Dallas VA Hospital. His hands-on work with veterans remains one of the most meaningful experiences of his career.

In April 2013, Dr. Sherman was selected to represent the city of Dallas in the Sendai International Half Marathon. He continues to chase new goals and regularly participates in local races and competitions. He is actively involved in the running community through volunteer work with groups like Luke’s Locker, Fleet Feet, and Marathon Kids, and shares his passion for healthy living on social media.

Dr. Sherman has had the privilege of working with collegiate and professional athletes in sports including track and field, cross country, swimming, triathlon, cycling, dance, and martial arts. His true passion lies in helping individuals of all backgrounds lead more active and healthier lives.

Since 2016, Dr. Sherman has served as an instructor for Active Release Technique (ART), considered the “gold standard” in soft tissue care. He is proud to teach medical doctors, physical therapists, massage therapists, and fellow chiropractors how to perform this highly effective technique, which he has used with great success since 2011.

In addition to his clinical and teaching roles, Dr. Sherman serves as Chairman of the BMW Dallas Marathon Board of Directors, and sits on the Board of Directors for the Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Dallas, where he is also a member of the governance committee. He is part of the Steering Committee for Temple Emanuel Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC), where his youngest daughter attends school.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Sherman enjoys spending time with his wife Amanda, a licensed professional counselor with her own practice, and their two daughters, Aimee and Lennie. As a family, they enjoy camping, outdoor adventures, and teaching the girls to ride bikes.
